Caldwell 33 - East Veil Nebula - 28th September

The East Veil Nebula is a section of the supernova remnant known as the Cygnus Loop which is approximately 2.4kly from Earth. The nebula is believed to have formed from a star over 20 times the size of the sun which went supernova between 10-20k years ago.
