Caldwell 27 - The Crescent Nebula - 23rd September

Cadwell 27, known as the Crescent Nebula, is an emission nebula approximately 5kly from Earth in the constellation of Cygnus.

The Crescent Nebula was formed when the stellar wind from the star HD192163 collided with the slower moving stellar wind created when it became a red giant star.
