Messier 45 - The Pleiades - 22nd September

The wonderful Pleiades star cluster. An absolute favourite of mine.

Also known as the Seven Sisters or M45, this open cluster contains young B-type stars in the constellation of Taurus. It is one of the nearest star clusters to Earth and is easily visible with the naked eye in the night sky!
