Distant Horizon

///PERSONAL LOG No.7 OF <DATE CORRUPTED>///
Evening of day five on this planet, and five days since the ship fell - like a star falling overhead.
Route planning - Cepheus estimates another 20km to the crash site. The terrain is hard to navigate via grav-cycle. Scouting from the cliff seems to show the path.
I like the atmosphere here. Air is crisp, pleasant. Flora is untouched and pretty. Fauna cannot be trusted. I feel like a thousand eyes stare at me from afar. Weapon is ready. Just in case.
The mountains cause issues with comms, but their beauty makes up for that. The nearby moon is a shimmering jewel of the night sky here. Equally bountiful in life.
Gear is all secure on the bike. Was worried terrain may cause it to fall off at one point, but my fears were not realised.
I would like to stay longer, but time is not my friend, nor the friend of any survivors. I press on.
